Mackenzie is a talented young actor and singer. She performs in community theatre around New Hampshire, and she has her sights set on New York. I can’t wait to see where she goes! These are her favorite images from her recent headshot session.
Kendall: strong, smart, sweet. I loved working with her to create her high school senior portraits. In each of them, I see her confidence and her joy. She is a beautiful person. Her day began with professional hair and makeup, and treats. Then I guided her into a variety of looks that I designed based
My son turns eleven today. These are a few portraits I made of him the other day, before I decided to get in the picture with him. At this age, he knows how he wants to look, and he chose his wardrobe. I love his style!
This is a portrait of my son David and me. He’s turning eleven so I took some portraits of him. When we finished, I tried to think of a single photo of the two of us. All I could recall were old ones (really old ones!). Why? Because I tend to stay behind the camera.
This gorgeous framed canvas just arrived at the studio. In addition to matted prints and handmade folio boxes, I love offering larger wall portraits to my clients. This 24″x36″ size would look beautiful over a fireplace or as part of a grouping in a living room.

This portrait session was a loving gift from a daughter to her mother. Amy has been in front of my camera before, and this time she wanted her mother, Ulrike, to see just how special and perfect she is with her very own portraits, and with mother-daughter portraits to cherish. Their day began with professional
While attending a workshop in France, I met a group of extraordinary photographers from around the world. We have continued working together since then, under the name Fireball Photographers. We collaborate remotely, and meet for some projects, as we did in Barcelona and London. We recently completed work on a project that pays homage to
When Shaylah and I first met to talk about how she wanted to be photographed, we decided her session would have two moods: J. Crew-inspired, and Vanity Fair-inspired. She loved the idea of crisp, modern, and fun headshots, but she also wanted elegant, glamorous, magazine-style portraits that were still “her.” I just love her

Opera singer Claire McCahan returned to her hometown of Plymouth, NH, from Boulder, Colorado. She had scheduled her portrait session during her visit, and we began our planning long distance. We had decided that we would create a body of work that would include headshots for her website, portraits she can use in programs, and portraits
There’s nothing more beautiful than being surrounded by the people who are most important to you—even in the chaos of daily life. On the day of this family’s session, the studio was filled with energy and love. I am grateful that they trusted me to create portraits that they will cherish for generations. The day
Sunshine (what a perfect name for her!) is a photographer from the NH seacoast area. She wanted a portrait session for personal branding. We created a set of images that included headshots, casual portraits, and even some elegant portraits. Her everyday style is bohemian chic, but she tried on the newest addition to my studio
In March, I spent a morning at the Plymouth Senior Center, where I guided photography students from Plymouth High School as they worked on a portrait project with the elderly. Yesterday I was treated to a luncheon at the high school, where the students displayed the portraits they made that day. Their subjects attended the
