The Over 50 Revolution is a luxurious portrait experience celebrating the strength, wisdom, and beauty of women aged 50 and up. Women from all over the U.S. have come to my studio in Plymouth, NH to participate. Together, we are helping to change the way the media and society define aging. We are also cultivating the freedom and confidence that result from appreciating—even loving–our own maturity.
Robin wanted to participate in The Over 50 Revolution after seeing photographs of some of the other participants.

Robin’s sister, Lisa, has been a role model in her life. Lisa established a camp on Catalina Island for children with congenital heart disease. The camp has been going strong for 20 plus years due to her dedication. Everyone at Camp del Corazon gets a camp nickname, and hers was Xena, warrior princess. I think that perfectly suits her.”
When asked what advice she would give to women who are younger than her, Robin said, “I recently went on a yoga retreat to a small, very rustic resort in Costa Rica. The resort housed about 30 people. It amazed me that two thirds of the attendees were young, solo women travelers. They were from all over the world. I loved seeing young women navigating the world, traveling, and enjoying themselves on non-traditional adventures. My advice would be to keep it up! Travel and enjoy yourself. you will gain perspective, experience, and insight, tools to help navigate through life’s many challenges.”
Robin’s husband, Michael, joined her for some of the portraits. After she mentioned seeing some of the other photos, he encouraged her to book her own photo session for The Over 50 Revolution.
