Introduction to Digital Photography

Registration is now open for the spring 2024 photo course, Introduction to Digital Photography. It will be held on three consecutive Friday mornings: April 26, May 3, and May 10, from 9:00 – 11:30 a.m. at my studio at 62 Main Street in Plymouth, New Hampshire. Space is limited, so register now to join us!

This course will help you build a strong foundation for your photography.  If you want to take better photographs of your friends and family, nature, or your travels, then this Introduction to Digital Photography course is for you.  By the end of the course, you’ll be more confident in your camera settings and your photography skills. You’ll be using your camera in manual mode, and you’ll discover a whole new world of creative control!

This course is designed for you to:

·       Learn the most essential functions of your DSLR or mirrorless camera

·       Understand basic photographic terminology

·       Gain a better understanding of lighting and composition

·       Learn how to recognize and use different kinds of light

·       Make light work for you

·       Understand different types of lenses and how they work

·       Create stronger images with composition

·       Learn to take great photos with the DSLR or mirrorless camera you have without extra gear

The spring 2024 photo course is limited to eight students. The tuition for this course is $375. To secure your spot, please send an email with your full name and phone number to maundy@maundymitchell.com.
