A Valentine’s Day Elopement

Lori and Jamey wanted a simple wedding that was just as special as an extravagant one. They decided to elope at The Manor on Golden Pond, a turn-of-the-century, English-style country inn in Holderness, New Hampshire. Situated on a hill overlooking Squam Lake, its setting takes advantage of one of New Hampshire’s most beautiful lakes, as well as the surrounding mountains–even in winter.
They got married on Valentine’s Day in a snowstorm. After the ceremony, they had great food, a lovely cake, and champagne–all in the cozy warmth of the many fireplaces.
For their honeymoon, the couple stayed at The Manor for a few days, enjoying the inn’s spa, as well as a sleigh ride and fireworks at Waterville Valley.
Congratulations, newlyweds!
