Kenzie is a senior at Plymouth Regional High School. When we first met to talk about how she’d like to look in her portraits, she talked about her love of acting, art, music, and travel, among many other things. In the months leading up to her session, we created a mood board together. She decided on the outfits she would wear, and how she’d like her hair and makeup.
On the day of her session, she enjoyed professional hair and makeup styling.
In addition to portraits, Kenzie wanted a set of headshots. She’ll use them for acting–auditions and programs–as well as for her college applications.
For the portrait below, I drew inspiration from vintage photos of famous actresses of the 1920s. This portrait is at the top of her 20 favorites from her photo shoot.
