This was the first in a series of sessions for beautiful Carlee. She was recently diagnosed with colon cancer, and she will begin treatment soon. Carlee invites all of us to take this journey with her. This year, she will show us how beauty takes many forms. Love and support—including yours—will help her stay strong.
“I should have done this a long time ago,” Carlee said. Facing a year of cancer treatments, she realized she wanted portraits of herself now, as well as portraits as her appearance changes throughout the year. She hopes that documenting this journey will bring hope to those with cancer, and that more people will be willing to be screened for cancer.
