Pease Public Library and the Young Ladies Library Association invited me to participate in their exhibition called BIRDS! I have three works there: “David and the Chickadee,” “Waxwings in Snow,” and “Hummingbird and Liatris.”
Here is my son, David, standing by my photo of him feeding a chickadee. Even though he moaned, “Mom!” when I asked him to stand by the photo, I know he is secretly proud of it because he wanted to be the one to carry it into the library!
The exhibition runs from September 1 through October 31, 2017 at Pease Public Library, 1 Russell Street, Plymouth, New Hampshire (a stone’s throw from my studio).
You’re invited to the Opening Reception on Thursday, September 14, from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. Stop by if you can!
In addition to an art exhibition, there will be three programs led by bird experts. You can find more information here: www.peasepubliclibrary.org.
Artists Janet Cocchiaro, Paulette Brace, and Alma Grand, hanging the art work.
