The National Women’s Caucus for Art (WCA) distributes a monthly newsletter to its members. This year, they have a new section called “FIRED UP Activist Art.”
I was honored to be the first featured artist in the January newsletter. My Protest Portraits exhibit was recognized as a contribution to the anti-racism movement.
Protest Portraits, a life-size traveling exhibit of black and white portraits, was exhibited last summer at five schools and universities, and was also installed at the State House in Concord, NH.
Installations of the exhibit will resume in the spring, starting at Lawrence Academy in Groton, MA.
