Portrait Project Connects Generations

In March, I spent a morning at the Plymouth Senior Center, where I guided photography students from Plymouth High School as they worked on a portrait project with the elderly.
Yesterday I was treated to a luncheon at the high school, where the students displayed the portraits they made that day. Their subjects attended the luncheon, too. The portraits are outstanding, and everyone was moved. It was so nice to see these two generations connect with each other.
The project was such a success that they are planning to do it every year.
Oh, and the gentleman in this photo is 95 years old. He graduated from this high school in 1939.
