“I am more comfortable behind the camera, so I did this as a twofold: as a challenge to myself to accept how I look, and secondly because I needed a new headshot for work.\u200b”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 What are your thoughts about women over 50?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We should be proud of what we have accomplished in our lives to get to this point as well as waking up each day and being thankful for being given another day!”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How have you changed since you turned 50?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I have accepted that it is okay to let go of toxic people and surround myself with people who bring joy to my life.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Growing up, did you have any women role models?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I had the best role models – the strongest women who were in my life from the start – my mother, my grandmother and my mother’s sisters.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What advice would you give to women who are younger than you?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Be grateful for the good and the bad in your life. Both provide growth. And never feel that growth\/learning is done.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I would like to be thought of as adding a bit more kindness to this world.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
