The National Women’s Caucus for Art<\/a> (WCA) distributes a monthly newsletter to its members. This year, they have a new section called “FIRED UP Activist Art.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was honored to be the first featured artist in the January newsletter. My Protest Portraits exhibit was recognized as a contribution to the anti-racism movement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Protest Portraits, a life-size traveling exhibit of black and white portraits, was exhibited last summer at five schools and universities, and was also installed at the State House in Concord, NH. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Installations of the exhibit will resume in the spring, starting at Lawrence Academy in Groton, MA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
