National Juried Exhibition by Women’s Caucus for Art of Greater Washington, DC <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I’m happy to announce that three of my portraits from the Protest Portraits series have been selected for a juried online exhibition by the Women’s Caucus for Art of Greater Washington, DC Area (WCADC). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The WCADC invited members of the National Women\u2019s Caucus for Art<\/strong> to submit artwork for a juried online exhibition entitled “See My Color,” WCADC\u2019s Social Justice Art Exhibition. “See My Color” will explore artists’ relationships with racial injustice, police brutality, and criminal justice reform through visual art. The show aims to confront the current social injustices surrounding the deaths of people of color in the United States by law enforcement, as well as systemic racism as a whole. \u201cI don\u2019t see color\u201d is not an acceptable response.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exhibition\u2019s juror is visual artist, activist, and gallery owner Zsudayka Nzinga Terrell <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
