A portrait session is a luxury experience in Plymouth, NH, a quintessential New England town in the White Mountains. Here, you can also enjoy charming shops, restaurants, and a thriving arts community.  The studio is next to Plymouth State University and close to several hotels, inns, spas, and ski resorts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How long has it been since there was a portrait of you that you loved? A real portrait; not a cell phone picture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do you see yourself in all of the good ways that the other people in your life see you?  Do you stop sometimes to think about how that is?  They might see you as beautiful, or strong.  Alluring.  Quirky.  Passionate.  When was the last time you did something to celebrate who you are? Who you are is who you really are – right now, without working to turn yourself into someone else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I believe that people are beautiful. I want to show you your own beauty and power by creating the most beautiful portraits you have ever seen of yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ll design a portrait session for you\u2013and the people who love you. It\u2019s a day of pampering with professional hair, make-up, styling, and direction. It\u2019s a special day out that you can enjoy on your own, with your partner, mother, daughter, sister, or a best friend. This will be an exceptional experience, whether you’re celebrating a milestone, or you’ve simply decided to exist in beautiful photos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step One: Studio Tour & Consultation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I invite you to schedule a complimentary tour and consultation with me at my beautiful studio in downtown Plymouth, New Hampshire. If you’re from out-of-state, we can do this by Zoom or simply a phone call. I’d like to show you the studio and the heirloom products that are available.  I’m looking forward to hearing about you, who you’d like to be photographed with, and how you’d like to see yourself in your new portraits.

Step Two: Scheduling Your Portrait Session<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Next, we’ll look at the calendar, and you can choose a date for your portrait experience. Sessions usually start at 9:00 a.m. If others will join you, they may arrive later, or you might choose to arrive together.  My calendar is typically booked at least six weeks out, but please contact me to check for availability. The session fee will be due at the time of booking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step Three: Planning Your Wardrobe <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We will discuss your wardrobe at the consultation and plan your outfits before your portrait session.  I also offer a complimentary wardrobe styling session prior to the portrait session date. You are welcome to bring anything you might like to wear for your photo session, and try on anything from my studio wardrobe. I’ll be happy to help you choose, or to source outfits! I recommend scheduling this session one to two weeks prior to your photo session. If you’re from out-of-state, we can text or email. <\/p>\n\n\n

Step Four: Your Session Day!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Before your photo session, you\u2019ll receive a list of what to bring and how to prepare. When you arrive, I will show you to the styling room, where you will meet your licensed hair and makeup artist. She’ll talk with you about how you’d like to see your hair and makeup. Hair and makeup styling will take about an hour.  When we begin photographing, I will direct you every step of the way. There is nothing you can do wrong!  The Portrait Experience is relaxing, rejuvenating, and fun.<\/p>\n\n\n

Step Five: Ordering Session<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

At the end of your portrait session, we’ll sit together and select images for your collection. Options include a bespoke album, folio box and wall art. With every portrait you choose, I will provide the complimentary matching digital file for web use. What you buy will be entirely up to you!\u00a0\u00a0You will have portraits you love, portraits that will be enjoyed every day by you and those who love you.<\/p>\n\n\n
