Life’s Work, Part XVII

Jeff, Chef, Plymouth, NH

“I became a chef to provide people with the space and opportunity to connect with each other, to take time.  Cooking for others, and the artistry involved, is a conscious act of nurturing and generosity. I’ve been a chef for 29 years and it [still] makes me happy to do that, even if providing for [others’] celebrations comes at the sacrifice of having my own.”
