This photo shoot was one of my favorites so far. It was the kind that I like best. The best kind of photo shoot has nothing to do with setting up poses. It is not about getting people to smile, and not about putting the short people in front, and the tall people in back.
The best photo shoots are about the moments. In these shoots, I am just there to watch and be a little bit involved, while people do things that they love, with the people that they love. I am just there to capture that love in those moments. In this case, the love is these people, and their horses. At Christmas time.
